Gwynn Perlich, RN, MSN, MBA is Vice President Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer at St. Vincent Carmel Hospital in Carmel, Indiana. Gwynn has worked for St. Vincent Hospital system for over 31 years, the last 10 years in executive leadership positions, and the last 8 years at St. Vincent Carmel Hospital. Gwynn was active on the board of directors for the Indiana Organization of Nurse Executives and is past president of CIONE. Gwynn received her Bachelor’s degree from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, her Masters in Nursing Administration from Indiana University, and her MBA from Anderson University
Karie Ryan, RN, MS, BSN is Chief Clinical Informatics Officer at Health First in Melbourne, Florida. Karie has worked for Health First since 1997 in several nursing leadership roles including most recently serving as the Vice President of Nursing for Palm Bay Hospital, one of four Health First hospitals in Brevard County. Karie received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Florida Atlantic University. She also holds a Master’s of Science degree in Health Services Administration from the University of St. Francis and is currently pursuing a Certificate in Healthcare Informatics from the University of California-Davis.

The charter for the CAB is to surface, analyze, and provide expert advice and support in areas including:
- Patient experience and satisfaction, clinical quality, and patient safety
- Key initiatives that enhance collaborative relationships between physicians, patients, and hospitals
- Cost saving initiatives; building and increasing revenue generation
- Hospital efficiency through greater interactive system utilization
