Skylight Healthcare Systems, the leading provider of interactive patient care systems, announced today the appointment of Carla Hilts MS, RN, CEN, PMP as Chief Clinical Officer. Carla is recognized as a national leader in improving clinician workflow and enhancing clinical practice through the use of technology.
In her role as Chief Clinical Officer at Skylight Healthcare, she will provide clinical expertise, vision and insight to the company's strategic clinical direction and product development. Additionally, she will work directly to support its client base in their ongoing endeavors in meeting the requirements of a healthcare environment focused on improving HCAHPS scores, patient satisfaction, clinical outcomes, quality and safety, and enhancing operational & service excellence.
Carla brings to Skylight more than 30 years of experience in clinical practice and nursing leadership roles with a variety of hospital organizations including University Medical Center and Lake Mead Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada in addition to Kindred Hospital in San Diego, CA.
She was formerly clinical consulting manager at First Consulting Group and most recently Executive Director and Practice Leader, Clinical Consulting Services for McKesson Provider Technologies. Carla's clinical practice and leadership career has been acknowledged in Who's Who in American Nursing for several years. Carla holds a B.S. in Nursing from University of Nevada, Reno and an M.S. in Nursing Administration from University of St. Francis, Illinois.
