Don Milder, Chairman

Don Milder is a Managing Director at Versant Ventures, a leading healthcare focused, venture capital firm. Don has been involved as a first round investor and Board Member in over 20 companies, and as one of the pioneer investors in the healthcare service segment, Don has developed a widely successful model for early stage health service investing. Prior to Versant, Don led Crosspoint Venture Partners' healthcare investing effort for 11 years. He also was CEO of Infusion Systems, a former Crosspoint investment, where he directed the development, manufacturing and marketing of disposable medical delivery devices. Don also held positions in business development and marketing with Dynatech and Eastman Kodak. He holds a B.A. from Union College and an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business.

Jim Dreyfous

Jim Dreyfous co-founded Utah Ventures (now Pelion Venture Partners) in 1986 and has been a Managing Director since its formation. After more than 25 years his passion for building companies continues. Jim personifies the Pelion culture and approach; he is active with business founders and directors, experienced in building and developing management teams, and adept at accessing strategic relationships to help companies to attract management expertise and capital at every stage of a company's growth. Jim spent his early career in commercial banking, oil and gas production and distribution, private investments, and small business management. Jim serves on the Utah Science, Technology and Research (USTAR) Governing Authority Board where he was appointed by the governor and state legislature. Jim is a graduate of Middlebury College.

Dr. Kevin Fickenscher, MD, CPE, FACPE, FAAFP

Dr. Kevin Fickenscher has extensive clinical, healthcare management, global technology and health information management experience. He is currently founder and president of CREO Strategic Solutions and, serves as lead representative for strategic and operational activities including the development and implementation of services and programs. He most recently served as Chief Strategy and Development Officer, Dell Healthcare Services and prior to that was CMO and Executive VP of Healthcare Transformation for Perot Systems Corporation (NYSE: PER), a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions which was acquired by Dell in 2009. Prior to Perot Systems, he served as the National Director and Partner for Clinical Transformation within the Global Health Solutions Group at Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE: CSC) and the CMO at WebMD Corporation. Prior to his move toward the corporate information technology world, he served as the Senior VP and CMO for Catholic Healthcare West and Senior VP and CMO for Aurora Health Care. He has served as a member of the Providence Health System Board of Directors and previously held various positions on boards including: Catholic Health Initiatives; Daou Systems, Inc. [NASDAQ: DAOU]; National Rural Health Association; Catholic Health Corporation; Sisters of Charity Health Care System; and Health Forum.

He contributed to academia as the founder of The Center for Rural Health at the University of North Dakota, and as the Assistant Dean and President/CEO of the Michigan State University/Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies. He also served as the President of the American Medical Student Association. Other accolades include: a Kellogg National Fellowship Award [1985]; nationally recognized as one of six Emerging Leaders in Healthcare for 1991 by Healthcare Forum and Korn/Ferry International; regional finalist for The White House Fellows Program; and recipient of North Dakota Leadership Award of Excellence. Recently, he was appointed to the American Hospital Association “Blue Ribbon Task Force on Hospital Governance”, which focuses on best practices related to hospital governance and defines innovative governance strategies. Dr. Fickenscher received his M.D. from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and his Family Practice Board certification thereafter. He is a Certified Physician Executive and Fellow with the American College of Physician Executives and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Kenneth Hanover

Ken Hanover has had a distinguished 30-year career in healthcare and currently serves as President and CEO of Northeast Health System, a diversified hospital and health services organization serving the North Shore communities of eastern Massachusetts. Northeast Health System is comprised of Beverly Hospital, Addison Gilbert Hospital, BayRidge Hospital, Beverly Hospital at Danvers, Northeast Medical Practice, Northeast Senior Health, Northeast Behavioral Health, and Northeast Physician Hospital Organization. Beverly and Addison Gilbert Hospitals have been identified by Thompson Reuters as Top 100 performing community hospitals in the United States. Mr. Hanover is responsible for the organization, strategic development, and financial and operational performance of the system.

Prior to joining Northeast Health System in 2009, Mr. Hanover served as President and CEO of The Health Alliance of Greater Cincinnati, Cincinnati, Ohio. During his tenure, the Health Alliance was identified by Thompson Reuters as one of the top ten health systems in the United States. He also has served as President and CEO of Main Line Health System in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. Mr. Hanover's earlier career included senior management positions with Healthlink, Portland, Oregon, the Hospital Association of Pennsylvania, and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of Health Insights, a former chairman of the Greater Cincinnati Hospital Council, and former chairman of the Ohio Hospital Association's Committee on Advocacy and Public Policy. Currently, he serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Council of Community Hospitals and the North Shore United Way. Mr. Hanover holds a Master of Public Administration degree from the Johnson School of Management at Cornell University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Massachusetts.

Thomas G. Klopack

Tom Klopack joined Skylight in July of 2011. Mr. Klopack's background includes 35 years of experience in various strategic and operational roles with leading edge, rapid-growth technology companies, in more than 20 industries. He previously served as the CEO of Automedics, a medical device startup focused on improved IV drug delivery. Before arriving at Automedics he was the President and CEO of IntelliDOT Corporation, a startup in hospital point-of-care medication delivery information systems. Prior to joining IntelliDOT, Mr. Klopack held management positions in biotechnology as the COO of Aurora Biosciences in San Diego, and most recently as CEO of Aclara Biosciences in Mountain View, CA. Prior to moving to San Diego, he spent nearly two decades in various domestic and international roles at Raychem Corporation in the Bay area. Mr. Klopack holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Robert B. Schulz

Bob Schulz is a Partner at Health Enterprise Partners. Prior to co-founding HEP, Mr. Schulz was a General Partner and co-founder of CB Health Ventures' two funds, CB Healthcare Fund (1997) and CB Healthcare Fund II (2001). Mr. Schulz spent three years as the President and COO of Harris & Harris Group, Inc., a publicly traded venture capital fund. Investments include: Passport Health (recap by Primus), Emageon (NASDAQ: EMAG); acquired by AMICAS, CareMedic Systems (acquired by Ingenix / UnitedHealthcare), CorSolutions (acquired by Matria), SCIOinspire and Continuum Rx. In addition to Skylight, Mr. Schulz is a director of Continuum Rx and SCIOinspire. He was a director of CareMedic Systems, Carefx Corporation, CorSolutions Medical, and Passport Health Communications prior to their sale by CB Health Ventures. Mr. Schulz received a Bachelors and Masters degree in Chemical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (1979) and an MBA from Columbia University Graduate School of Business (1983).

David Strand

David Strand has spent more than 30 years providing executive leadership to some of the nation's leading health care institutions. He currently serves as the CEO of LifeNexus, Inc., developer of the Personal Health Card®. Mr. Strand most recently served as Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of ExperiaHealth, one of the nation's first patient experience improvement companies. ExperiaHealth was sold to Vocera Communications, Inc. at the end of 2010. Mr. Strand previously served as Chief Operating Officer for the Cleveland Clinic, a $5.2B academic medical center. He has also served in senior executive leadership roles with other leading health services organizations, including CEO of LifeMasters, a venture-backed disease management company; COO of Allina Health System, a $2.6B integrated health system; and CEO of Medica, one of the nation's largest health plans. Mr. Strand began his career in law, where he established and led the National Health Care Practice Group for two Minneapolis-based law firms. He received his B.A. from Gustavus Adolphus College and his J.D. from the University of Minnesota. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees of American Public Media, Minnesota Public Radio and Southern California Public Radio. He also serves on the Boards of Directors of NDS Surgical Imaging, and Skylight Healthcare Systems.
