When educational content is delivered to the patient, the patient simply clicks on the pillow speaker control to view that content.

Upon completion, confirmation is automatically documented into the electronic medical record, supporting the clinical workflow to focus on providing compassionate care while addressing Joint Commission requirements.

On the CareNavigator™ dashboard, the patient sees a list of all their patient-specific educational content. Content that has been viewed is checked off as completed.

Nurses can review this dashboard with the patient and can remind the patient of any videos the doctor has prescribed prior to discharge.

If a video is viewed but not completely understood, the patient makes a request for clarification, which sends an alert to the appropriate clinician.

The patient's confirmation of video viewing is automatically entered into the EMR. The nurse does not need to enter this data manually, which frees up time to provide compassionate bedside care.
